EDUCATION OUTSIDE THE CLASSROOM

Blessed with access to so much of the New Zealand countryside within two hours from school, we offer year-level camps which provide opportunities for educational activities outside the classroom.

Educational activities outside the classroom includes white water rafting, orienteering, kayaking, rope courses, tramping through the Manawatū Gorge and surrounds, and trips to the ski fields.

We also run a variety of field trips connected to study areas: these see students taking part in beach studies and education, river studies and visits to industry both locally and in the Wellington region.

Regular overseas trips to Japan offer students the opportunity to enhance the classroom learning that they do inside the classroom.
